Early Years

Developing A Love Of Learning

“At this level, our students will have a far wider world view, with a growing knowledge of history, geography and science.”

Also known as Foundation Stage (FS), our early years teaching gets children aged 3 to 5 ready to enroll in the British curriculum when they enter Key Stage 1. At this early stage we concentrate on key aspects of your child’s learning journey such as:

  • Keeping track of progress
  • Supporting growth
  • Developing social skills
  • Introducing education
  • Exploring our world

By the end of Key Stage 1, year 2, we aim to have developed young pupils with a love of learning, basic literacy, basic numeracy, effective social skills and the ability to both read and write.  At this level, our students will have a far wider world view, with a growing knowledge of history, geography and science. Our year 2 pupils will also have discovered creative outlets for their ideas, feelings and beliefs; from dance and gymnastics to art and music.
