Looking Towards The Future

Preparing for and applying to a top university is a complex process. That’s why every year, the GEMS Cambridge International School Nairobi, holds workshops lead by our Global Director of College Counseling that engages learners in all aspects of applying to universities for higher education, such as:

  • US, UK and International College Applications
  • College Search/Exploring Best Fit Options
  • Career and Personality Assessment evaluations/prep
  • Common App/UCAS workshops
  • Essay and Personal Statement Writing Strategies
  • Introduce Art & Design Portfolio workshops
  • Scholarship and Financial Aid/CSS Profile Preparation
  • SAT and ACT Testing Strategies

Students work with advisors and counselors onsite and online to compile documents and writing samples needed for successful college applications given different international admissions systems.

GEMS students receive tremendous support from Kierstan Connors, GEMS Director of College Counseling, International College Counselor, Academic Dean and AP/IBDP Administrator.
